My novel, At the End of the World, is off to a final round of readings and editorial review. Hopefully, there are few revisions needed after that. Then it will go into the production phase at the publisher. This book has been an unexpected experience all the way through. I thought it would be a collection of short stories, but it’s a novel. I never expected to write about time travel, but I did, though uniquely. I never expected to write a speculative fantasy not set in a secondary world, but I did. I suspect that pushing myself out of my comfort zone has improved my writing and I hope, allowed me to write an interesting novel.
I need to dive into a companion chapbook of poetry for At the End of the World. A new project I’m excited to start.
