December 2019 Poem: One Used Sword

Posted on December 27, 2019March 5, 2020 by Author Kevin J Fellows
Found: one sword
rusted, chipped,
bent

How many red battles
how many
dead lives

Peace rusts its bite
In retirement
it lays no harm

Yet revived, and death
again will light crimson
against its edge
